International alliance of individual and privately-owned hotels, The Leading Hotels of the World has acknowledged Seven Pines Resort Ibiza as one of the best across the globe by adding it to its collection in pre-opening phase. Attending ILTM in Cannes (5 - 8 December 2016), the resort will be presented to the media by Markus Lück, who was appointed General Manager of Seven Pines Resort Ibiza in January 2016.
The Leading Hotels of the World – founded in 1928 – is an unparalleled collection of the world’s greatest hotels. The association has over 20 outposts internationally, with its headquarters in New York. The organization collaborates with 430 luxurious hotels, resorts and spas, encompassing more than 54,000 rooms and suites in 75 countries. In order to become a member of the association, hotels are required to meet a list of more than 100 strict criteria that measure overall guest experience - including rooms, service, kitchen and personnel – ensuring that the property meets international luxury standards, as well as providing an individual experience to its guests. This list provides a high standard for admittance to The Leading Hotels of the World and gives hotels a platform for global visibility and recognition amongst their target audience of prospective guests.
From the 5th until the 8th of December at the International Luxury Travel Market in Cannes, The Leading Hotels of the World will introduce the Seven Pines Resort Ibiza as at their newest member with their first official public appearance at the LHW stand (W250).
Located above Cala Conta in the south west of Ibiza with a view of the rocky island Es Vedrà beyond, Seven Pines Resort is currently being developed on an area of 56,000 square metres with the height of luxury in mind. A perfect addition to The Leading Hotels of the World collection, Seven Pines Resort Ibiza will open in 2018 across one hundred buildings that will offer tailor-made luxury for sophisticated guests with its 195 suites varying in size from 48 – 119m² (some with private pools and gardens), exceptional food and beverage, comprehensive spa and wellness offering and unparalleled service.
For Markus Lück, the significance of the resort’s creation lies in both the overall concept as well as keen attention to detail: From trendy DJs and unique beauty and wellness treatments to a nitrogen-cooled Piña Colada ice cream created by food designer David Marx, Lück and his team of 200 want to create a luxury experience with a difference. “In our joining The Leading Hotels of the World we are proud to be in the company of some of the best high-end hotels across the globe. Furthermore, we believe Seven Pines Resort has the potential to become the leading resort on Ibiza,” says the General Manager.
